FCC Applications
The FM Expansion Group has successfully prepared and guided numerous new station and upgrade applications through the Commission.
Applications proposing upgrades or changes to existing changes can usually be filed at any time. If you wish to explore the possibility of modifying an existing facility, please click here and send us the details.
The list of our successful FCC filings keeps growing.
The last window was for full power NCE stations. The FCC is still processing applications submitted during the 2021. However, FMEG prepared applications have already prevailed more than 50 times.

Station Launches
Obtaining a construction permit for a new station is very exciting. But it is only the first step in the adventure (and challenge) of launching a new station.
The FM Expansion Group excels at developing facilities for our clients that are reliable, robust, and cost-effective.
We understand that each of our clients have unique needs. Some of our clients are experienced broadcasters and simply need a few resources to reach their goal.
Most of our clients need a turnkey vendor that can design the facility, build the station, load the automation, and train the staff in its operation. We excel at successful station launches.
Station Expansion
During the last few months, the Federal Communications Commission has dismissed hundreds of applications. Those applications were preventing existing stations from being upgraded.
Furthermore, the recent conversion to digital television means that many noncommercial stations can be upgraded because it is no longer necessary to protect the nearby television station broadcasting on channel six.
These recent events mean that many noncommercial broadcasters have a rare opportunity to increase their station’s coverage area.
Most broadcasters do not have the resources in-house to determine if it’s possible to upgrade or move their stations. However, the FMEG team can quickly and inexpensively determine if it is possible to upgrade or move your FM station or translator.
