WJMF Upgraded to HD

During August of 2011, FMEG upgraded Bryant University’s WJMF to a digital facility.
The analog channel and WJMF-HD1 now feature classical music programming produced in association with WGBH in Boston.
WJMF-HD2 features programming created by students at Bryant University.

WJDD Constructed and Licensed

On June 17, 2011, the Federal Communications Commission granted a license to Denny and Marge Hazen Ministries for WJDD (Carrollton, OH).
The new station serves Carroll, Stark, and Tuscarawas counties is Ohio.
The facility is the flagship station for the Faith Ministry Radio Network.

On June 13, 2011, the Federal Communications Commission granted a license to Bryant University for the new more-powerful WJMF.
FMEG constructed this facility during the summer of 2011.
The new station provides a high quality signal to most of Rhode Island, and portions of Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

WNIA Constructed and Licensed

On December 20, 2010, the Federal Communications Commission granted a license to Nash Community College for WNIA (Tarboro, NC).
The new station is a lab for Nash’s new broadcast and communications curriculum.

FMEG Client Receives Two New Station CPs

On June 21, 2011, the Commission released Comparative Consideration of 33 Groups of Mutually Exclusive Applications for Permits to Construct New or Modified Noncommercial Educational FM Stations, Memorandum Opinion and Order (MO&O), FCC 11-99.
In that document, the Commission identified FMEG client Lake Area Educational Broadcasting as the tentative selectee for two new stations..

KCVQ Power Upgrade Approved

On May 18, 2010, FMEG submitted an application on behalf of Lake Area Educational Broadcasting Foundation to increase the power of KCVQ (Knob Noster, MO).
The power increase is possible because stations operating in the reserved band are no longer required to protect analog TV6 stations.
The Media Bureau granted that application on July 28, 2010.

KCVX Minor Mod Granted

On May 18, 2010, FMEG submitted an application on behalf of Lake Area Educational Broadcasting Foundation to modify the facilities of  KCVQ (Knob Noster, MO).
The Media Bureau granted that application on July 28, 2010.
Lake Area Educational Broadcasting operates the statewide Spirit FM radio network in Missouri.

Columbus County Schools Awarded CP

 FMEG submitted an application on behalf of Columbus County Schools for a new station during the 2007 NCE window.
The granted authority to build WZCO (Chadbourn, NC) on May 12, 2010.
Columbus County Schools intends to use the station to train its students and provide unique programming to the community.

KCVK Move Approved

On March 17, 2010, FMEG submitted an application on behalf of Lake Area Educational Broadcasting Foundation to move KCVK (Otterville, MO) to a new tower.
 The Media Bureau granted that application on April 6, 2010.
